Shanghai Clean Energy Research and Industry Promotion Center was set up in Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Park officially on 18th May 2006. The leaders of Shanghai Municipal, including Yin Yicui and Yan Junqi, attended the ceremony.

The Shanghai Clean Energy Research and Industry Promotion Center consists of five research labs, namely “Solar technology research”, “Wind power generation technology research”, “Fuel cell automation united research”, “Clean coal technology research” and “Biomassenergy application technology research”.

Aiming at those big issues about Shanghai clean energy technology research and industry chain, Shanghai Clean Energy Research and Industry Promotion center would carry out the advanced energy application research and tackle key problems. Shanghai Clean Energy Research and Industry Promotion center is supposed to constantly improve its creating and industrializing capability by building a professional and incubating platform with multi functions, including R&D, enterprise incubator, policies and regulations, professional training and international communications.
