The 15th anniversary celebration ceremony of BorgWarner China Technology Center was held in Zizhu High-Tech Park on October 11, 2024. The senior executives of BorgWarner, leaders of Minhang District, leaders of Zizhu High-Tech Park, BorgWarner customers and suppliers gathered on site to celebrate this milestone moment together.

As BorgWarner's first research and development center and an important innovation hub for BorgWarner in China, BorgWarner China Technology Center plays a key role in promoting technological progress, supporting local markets and facilitating industry cooperation. Over the past fifteen years, the China Technology Center has continuously provided high-quality integrated solutions for Chinese market and related research and development, sales and procurement activities. At present, BorgWarner has technology centers and production facilities in 9 different cities in China.

To achieve the company's vision of creating a clean and energy-efficient world, BorgWarner China Technology Center actively adopts green power operations and installs photovoltaic power stations, with an average annual power generation of 630000 kWh (kilowatt hours) to meet 12% of its total annual energy demand. At the same time, BorgWarner takes both internal and external measures to empower employees to establish environmental awareness and encourage participation in environmental activities. In addition, BorgWarner also collaborates with upstream and downstream suppliers to build a green supply chain, providing support and cooperation for suppliers' own emission reduction processes and jointly creating a sustainable ecological environment.
