The 2024 Shanghai International City and Architecture Expo (referred to as the "City Expo") was held at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center on October 31, 2024. Zizhu High-Tech Park made a brilliant appearance at the exhibition on behalf of Minhang District. In conjunction with the fifth anniversary commemoration of the People's City, this urban expo, with the theme of "Innovation driving green development, new quality productive forces empowering people's cities", fully showcased the achievements of Shanghai's urban construction and development and focused on showcasing the application results of green and low-carbon transformation, intelligent construction and operation efficiency improvement and comprehensively demonstrated the effectiveness of Shanghai's innovative construction management.

The exhibition area of Zizhu is located in H1-B009, with the theme of "Ideal Land and Lifetime City". It comprehensively showcased the efforts and practices made by Zizhu as a sample of Shanghai's construction and development in building a science and technology town from the angles of an overview of Minhang and Zizhu, the pulse of ecology, the inheritance of culture, the power of technology and the desired home.

The exhibition area adopts various display methods such as sand table, multimedia, exhibition board, interactive experience, etc., focusing on presenting the "park city" with Zizhu Water Conservancy Scenic Area as the core, the "leisure resort" of Lanxiang Lake Ecological Community, the comprehensive "education system" of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, East China Normal University, Zizhu International Education Park, Basic Education Park, Shenghua Zizhu Bilingual School and High school, etc.. The exhibition also showcased the diverse symbiosis of High-Tech industrial ecological construction achievements, the technological charm of Zizhu Metro Square in smart city building, the vibrant communities such as Zichao Wenlan Apartments, and the complete supporting facilities in medical services, health care, leisure tourism, commercial institutions, etc.

During the exhibition, many visitors came to the exhibition area to learn and fully experience the important measures of Zizhu in implementing the concept of a people's city and the practical achievements of building a lifelong city. They also personally experienced the unity of people and nature by Lanxiang Lake, which received widespread praise.
