Shanghai Zizhu Top Data Center held grand opening ceremony in the Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Minhang on the afternoon of January 11, 2019. Mr. Loh Tuck Wai, the Singapore consul general in Shanghai, board chairman Chen Zhiping, Xia Guang, the executive vice general manager of Zizhu Hi-tech Park, the representatives from Zizhu Hi-tech Park and the specially invited guests in the industry attended the opening ceremony.

 Located on the B1 and B2 floors of Building 2 of Zizhu Digital Creativity Hub, the data center covers an area of more than 10,000 square meters with 1,200 planning cabinets. In order to ensure that the data center will be in line with international first-class standards, the data center is designed by the i3 solutions team and has passed the ANSI/ TIA942 Rated-3 (with the same level as T3) designing certification. Singapore Racks Central Company and Kingsland Company built the data center and wrote the maintenance process. Top Datais in charge of the daily operation and maintenance work. The data center has completed the deployment of more than 600 cabinets in the first phase and it is expected to complete the deployment of the remaining cabinets in early 2020.

 Board Chairman Chen Zhiping expressed his thanks to Zizhu Digital Creativity Hub for its support in the settlement of the data center in Zizhu Hi-tech Park at the opening ceremony. He said that “with advanced management concept, the concerted efforts of the employees and the cooperation of the partners, the center will improve its products and services to provide more comprehensive services to the customers in different industries by taking full advantage of thesuperior geographical location of Zizhu Hi-tech Park. The center will strive to become the preferred IDC service provider with high cost-effective in the era of big data.”

 The executive director Tan Weiye said that “as a fast growing company, Top Data has built data centers in Beijing, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It developed cooperation partners in Singapore to jointly explore the international market. The opening of Zizhu Data Center is a milestone for Top Data and the investment company. With Zizhu Data Center as the starting point, Top Data will explore Shanghai market and provide users with comprehensive data services. Top Data will build data service networks radiating the Yangtze River Delta with Zizhu as the center.

 Mr. Chen Ding, the vice general manager of Zizhu Digital Creativity Hub, welcomed the opening of Top Data, saying that Zizhu will continue to provide good services and contribute to the construction of Shanghai Innovation Center with global influence.

 Mr Lee Seng Wee, Singapore expert consultant from the designer i3 solutions, shared the designing philosophy. I3 SolutionsGroup previously designed more than 100 data centers for Singapore and Hong Kong Governments of, Citibank, Goldman Sachs and other international institutions.
