On Sept. 13, 2006, Ms. Ren Wenyan, Vice Director of Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress and Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, leading a delegation of 10 peoples including Ms. Fan Tianping, Director of Economic Dept., and Mr. Shao Dong, Director of Liaison Dept. of Shanghai Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce and privately managed entrepreneurs visited the park. Mr. Shen Wen, Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Zizhu Park accompanied the delegation.

After hearing the introduction of the park by Chairman of the Board Mr. Shen Wen, the visitors highly appraised the unique developing ideas, advanced operating mechanism and the outstanding achievements of business promotion of the park. Meanwhile, the mutually attended issues including industrial orientation, development main body, and taxation and so on had deeply been discussed between guests and hosts.

Vice Director Ren fully affirmed the advanced developing mechanism and the outstanding achievements of the park. She considered that, by shortly 4 years, the achievements of building the bran-new park with harmonious development of ecology, humanity and technology is obvious to all. She highly appraised that the park devoted major efforts to introducing well-known R&D centers from home and abroad into the park in order to form multi-level innovative subject and cultivate a batch of self-innovation teams with advanced world levels and science and technology enterprises with self-owned intellectual properties. She also considered that taking “three zones interacting” as a carrier and insisting on the model of self-innovation provide valuable experience for privately owned enterprises to participate in the construction of similar developing zones.

Later, the guests visited Zizhu Science and Technology Exhibition Center, Zizhu University Students and Teachers Innovation Center and Riverside Boulevard.
