Microsoft (China) announced the establishment of the Cloud Computing Innovation Center in Shanghai at its Cloud Computing Partners Summit, marking a further step in its cloud computing strategy in China. It is reported that Microsoft will build the first cloud computing laboratory in Shanghai Zizhu Science Park. The company officials claim that 70% of the engineers, including Microsoft Asia-Pacific R&D Group employees, are engaged in cloud computing related work. Chinese market has always been of great significance in Microsoft's global strategy.
