In the morning of Dec. 20, 2005, Nissin (Shanghai) Safety Evaluation and Research Institute Co. Ltd. started the construction work in Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park. Mr. Yamada Toshihiro, the chairman of Nissin (Shanghai) Safety Evaluation and Research Institute Co. Ltd., Mr. Sato Hironori, General Manager of Nissin Foods (China) Holding Co. Ltd, Mr. Xia Guang, Executive Vice General Manager, Vice General Manager Mr. Chen Yong of the park and the other leaders of project designing and construction attended the ceremony.

The company is the R&D center wholly invested by Nissin Foods Co. Ltd of Japan. It is mainly engaged in research and improvement of the foods security test and analysis methodology. The project is estimated to be completed and will bring into operation in Oct. 2006.
