Omron (China) R& D registers with Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park

In the afternoon of May 18, 2005, the signing ceremony of Omron (China) R & D with Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park is held successfully in Shanghai Hongqiao Marriott Hotel. Mr. Yasuhira Minagawa the general manager of Omron (China) and Mr. Xiaguang the executive deputy general manager of Zizhu sign the contract on behalf of both sides. Mr. Zhang Wenyue, the vice governor of Minhang District, Mr. Yang Li, the director of Minhang Foreign Economic Committee, Mr. Tsukasa Yamashita the senior manager of Omron Research & Development, Mr. Masaki Arao, the general manager of Sensing & Control Technology Labortary, Mr. Shen Wen, the chair of board and general manager of Zizhu, Mr. Chen Yong, the deputy general manager of Zizhu, Mr. Liu Xun, the deputy general manager of Zizhu attend the signing ceremony.

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Tsukasa Yamashita makes a detailed introduction of Omron, Omron (china) and the R& D, which is going to be built.

After that, Mr. Cao Zhaoming the vice director of Technology Section of Shanghai Jiaotong University makes a speech in the name of Mr. Ding Wenjia, the vice president. He congratulates on the successful cooperation between Omron and Zizhu, and hope that both parties can benefit from it and develop further. 

Finally Mr. Zhang Wenyue, the vice governor gives a passionate speech, in which he welcomes Omron and congratulate the strategic decision. The vice governor believes that this is a typical example of successful cooperation between Omron and Zizhu.

Mr. Zhang also points out Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park is an important base of the municipal and district strategy of “ prosper through science and education”. The district government is going to support and observe Zizhu’s development, and assist in the marketing and promotion of the Park. Mr. Zhang believes that Omron’s leading edge technology in the industry and Zizhu’s advanced construction concept, complete supporting facilities and strength in ecology and humanity are the guarantee of a double-win situation.
