In the morning of Nov. 4, 2006, under the strong support of Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park, Shanghai Cycling Race was successfully held by Intel (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Flying Hairy Legs Cycling Group in the park.

The race aim is to encourage and develop cycling skill and race tactic, advocate modern, healthy, environmental protection life style. Therefore, Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park is an ideal race course for its beautiful environment and the environmental protection ideas.

The race was separated into A, B and C three categories for different level players. In addition to the higher professional level category A, the B is for the players who specially emphasize to enjoy the joys of cycling and want to accumulate race experience, which is suitable for those who are no more training and experience and want to get more fun from the race. The C then is for female players.

The race lets everyone enjoy the joys of cycling and race well. Meanwhile, as an open science and technology new town, Zizhu fully embodies its community service function and the radiation function.
