The summary and commendation meeting for the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Zizhu National High-Tech Park was held at the training center on the second floor of the headquarters building on December 16, 2022. Board chairman and general manager Shen Wen and the administrative managers and all the employees of all subsidiaries attended the meeting.

The "Song of Zijiang People" was played and the high-pitched melody urged people to work hard. Later, the participants watched the profile video for the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Zizhu High-Tech Park to review the extraordinary achievements and development of the park in the past 20 years, and looked forward to the brilliant future. In the video "Twenty Years of Zizhu, You and Me”, 13 employees told their stories of participating in and witnessing the construction and development of Zizhu in different positions, which deeply touched all Zizhu people present.

Executive vice general manager Xia Guang said in the "Summary Report on the Construction of a Science and Technology Town in 20 Years" that the establishment and development of Zizhu National High-Tech Park is an important part of vigorously implementing the strategy of "rejuvenating the country through science and education", promoting the integration of production, education, research and the industrialization of High-Tech achievements. It is also a successful practice for Shanghai to implement the strategic industry cultivation base in the new round of scientific and technological revolution and improve the urbanization level of Minhang. Zizhu bears an important mission in Shanghai's strategy of building a scientific and technological innovation center with global influence.

After 20 years of construction, Zizhu High-Tech Park has boldly explored a unique path of innovation and development of science and technology parks. Various management indicators are among the top of the national High-Tech Parks, with an annual operating income of RMB 107.5 billion yuan, an annual fiscal revenue of RMB 10 billion yuan, an average tax output of RMB 4.77 million yuan per 667 square meters, an average operating income of RMB 51.21 million yuan per 667 square meters, and an average profit of RMB 10.79 million yuan per 667 square meters. It ranks ninth in the comprehensive ranking of the national High-Tech Parks, and has become a practitioner of high-quality development of High-Tech Parks and a new engine of regional economic growth. Zizhu has made bold attempts in the establishment of system and mechanism, the improvement of scientific and technological innovation level and the growth of economic strength. It has achieved remarkable results. Zizhu is becoming an important starting point for scientific and technological innovation, the origin of original innovation, and the main position for independent innovation in Shanghai and even the country.

The advanced individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the past 20 years and have devoted themselves to their work were commended at the meeting. Xia Guang, Luo Shanying, Chen Heng and Lu Weiwu were awarded the Exploit Leader Medal. Lu Yi and other 9 employees were awarded the medal of outstanding managers. Li Min and other 9 employees were awarded the Advanced Worker Medal. Yu Rong and other 25 employees were awarded the medal for outstanding employees. The 20-year commemorative medals were presented to Liu Yufeng and other 6 employees who have worked in Zizhu High-Tech Park for 20 years. Board chairman and general manager Shen Wen and other top managers presented award medals and bonuses to the award-winning employees.

Shan Xiaofei and other award-winning representatives shared the harvest of growing up in the hot land of Zizhu, and gave sincere messages for the brilliant future of Zizhu High-Tech Park.

Mr. Shen Wen, the chairman and general manager, delivered a speech at the meeting. He said that under the leadership of the municipal and district governments, and with the wide attention and support of all sectors of society, Zizhu people worked hand in hand to create a brilliant new era. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary, he paid high tribute to the pioneers, builders, participants and witnesses. He thanked all the employees and their families who have worked hard for the construction and development of Zizhu High-Tech Park, and congratulated the employees who have won the awards.

The year 2022 is an important historic moment for Zizhu National High-Tech Park. With diligence, wisdom and perseverance, the builders of the park fulfilled the solemn promise of "giving me 20 years and giving you a science and technology town". Over the past 20 years, we have always taken the national strategic orientation and the needs of local social and economic development as the guiding direction, always adhered to innovation, high standards, long-term work style and always adhere to win-win cooperation and mutual achievements.

Standing at a new starting point and looking forward to the future, we are full of confidence. We will unswervingly take President Xi’s important thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics as the guide, give full play to the advantages in operation mechanism, universities, ecological environment, internationalization, transportation and infrastructure, learn the successful experience of the global well-known High-Tech parks to build Zizhu into a High-Teck Park with international influence and unique characteristics. We will implement the national opening-up strategy and attract multinational companies, R&D chains and innovation chains of the leading industry segments to Zizhu. Under the situation of building a new development pattern of "double circulation", we will further build a leading source of independent innovation in China by using the collaborative innovation force of industry, university and research.
