On March 1, Dajiang xu, vice president of strategic investments of Trina Solar (Singapore) Co., Limited (TSL) and Gordon Xia, executive vice president of Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park, signed the investment contract at the conference center of Minhang District Government. Yuying Shang, deputy director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Industry and Informatization, Jing Chen, chief of Minhang District Government, Xiangmin Cheng, deputy chief, Jifan Gao, board director of TSL and Wen Shen, board chairman of Zizhu Park attended the signing ceremony.

As a listed Company at New York Stock Exchange with an asset of nearly RMB 10 billion, TSL boasts an integrated industry chain from silicon crystals to silicon chips, solar cells and photovoltaic components and systematic engineering as well as strong R&D capabilities. It is one of the best suppliers of high-quality and high-tech products in the global photovoltaic (PV) industry. The company plans to invest 60 million U.S. dollars in the construction of TSL Asia-Pacific headquarters, a National Photovoltaic Lab and R&D center and a 100 megawatt high-performance cell manufacturing base. The settlement of TSL in Zizhu Park will bring a new outlook to the development of new energy industry in Shanghai.
