On October 31, 2008, Coca-Cola signed a formal contract with Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park. Under the contract, Coca-Cola China Industries Services Co., Ltd plans to invest a registered capital of USD 95,000,000 to upgrade Coca-Cola Enterprise Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd registered in the Park to regional headquarters to integrate the development strategy and business activities and provide decision making, management, services and supports for all its projects in Mainland China. Chao Sun, Secretary of CPC Minhang District Committee, Jing Chen, deputy Secretary and chief of Minhang District, Xiangmin Cheng, deputy governor of Minhang District, Teng Ma, CEO of Coca-Cola China Industries Services Co., Ltd, Wen Shen, board director and general manager and Guang Xia, vice VP of the Park attended the contract signing ceremony.
