At 9:58 am, May 20, 2008, Keihin R&D China Co., Ltd held security praying ritual for the construction of its new office building. Iwata Takeshi, president of Keihin Corporation, Masaaki Takahashi, general manager, Guang Xia, executive vice president of Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park, Shanying Luo, vice president and the contractor representatives of the project attended the ritual.
With a registered capital of 9.6 million U.S. dollars and occupying an area of 7,000 square meters, Keihin R&D China Co., Ltd dedicates itself into R&D and testing of electronic control units and peripheral components of engines.
As Keihin Group’s first R&D institute out of Japan, Keihin R&D China Co., Ltd will utilize its technological expertise and development prowess nurtured in the production of various functional parts which are used in engine fuel supply systems, drive systems, chassis, air conditioners, industrial valves as well as advanced electronic control systems.
