Customers Supporting Center of AVIC1 Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd. starts the construction work - Zizhu National High-Tech Industrial Development Park

In the morning of Aug. 8, 2006, the ceremony of starting construction work of Customers Supporting Center of AVIC1 Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd. was held in Zizhu Park. Mr. Xu Qinghong and Mr. Liu Qianyou, vice general manager of AVIC1 Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd., Mr. Chen Heng, vice general manager of Zizhu Science-Based Industrial Park attended the ceremony.

Customers Supporting Center of AVIC1 Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd. is the first large-scale ARJ21 Aircraft Consumers Supporting Center in China. ARJ21 is the first medium and short range regional jet which designing standard is fully in accordance with China’s natural environment. The project has been listed in National Bigness Projects Directory. The first flying of the aircraft is planned to be effected in 2008. It will be one of the most advanced and comfortable regional jets in the world at that time.

The center with the construction area of 19,500 sq.m is planning to be completed in June, 2007 and will formally bring into operation in 2008. It will be the large-scale civil aircrafts customers supporting center with the combination of both the largest scale and equipped perfectly in China and integrating customer training, spare part service, customer networks service.
