Deputy Mayor Zhou Bo and His Delegation Inspect Zizhu National High-Tech Park

Zhou Bo, vice mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, together with the leaders from Shanghai Development and Reform Commission, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and Zhangjiang National Hi-tech Zone carried out the field research in Zizhu National Hi-tech Zone. Zhao Qi, secretary of CPC Minhang District Committee, Zhang Guokun, vice governor of Minhang District, Shen Wen, Board Chairman and general manager of Zizhu and vice general manager Luo Shanying took part in the inspection.

Mayor Zhou firstly inspected Shanghai Pure & Clean Process Systems Co., Ltd. and Neusoft Group (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

Board Chairman Shen reported the work done by Zizhu in the process of “building Shanghai into an innovation center with global influence”. He said that Zizhu, aiming at building a world class Hi-tech Zone, would strive to optimize the functional, industrial and spacial layout, vigorously promote technology innovation and the industrialization of scientific achievements and build Zizhu into and innovation center with abundant creativity resources, comprehensive services and sound entrepreneurship environment.

Mayor Zhou pointed out that it would be both an opportunity and a challenge for Minhang District and Zizhu to build the innovation center. He expressed his hope that Zizhu would make full use of the favorite policies, set up venture fund and integrate enterprise resources with social resources to create an atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship. Based on the R&D headquarters, Zizhu should strengthen the research on IPR and innovation systems and introduce more talents in venture investment, innovation and economic management. The transformation work of technological achievements should be strengthened and a good innovation and entrepreneurial environment should be created by improving supporting facilities and providing better services to R&D centers and small businesses. He said that Shanghai Municipal Government would spare no effort to support the development of Zizhu National Hi-tech Zone. He hoped that Zizhu could seize the opportunity and make more contributions to building Shanghai into an innovation center.
