East China Normal University and Zizhu High-Tech Park Sign the Framework Agreement on Deepening Cooperation - Zizhu National High-Tech Industrial Development Park

The framework agreement on "deepening cooperation between East China Normal University and Shanghai Zizhu Hi-tech Industrial Development Park" was held in the banquet hall on the 3rd floor of Zizhu Courtyard Hotel on July 30, 2018.

The ceremony was presided over by Ren Youqun, deputy party secretary vice President of ECNU, who introduced the cooperation between the two sides. Xia Guang, deputy director of the management committee and executive vice general manager of Zizhu Hi-tech Park, introduced the relevant situations of promoting functional construction, improving regional innovation system, improving supporting functions and building the new comprehensive science town.

Witnessed by Li Yiping, vice president of CPPCC Shanghai Mu-nicipal Committee, Tong Shijun, party secretary of ECNU, Yang Demei, deputy governor of Minhang District, ac-ademician Qian Xuhong, president of ECNU and Shen Wen, executive deputy director, board chairman and general manager of Zizhu Hi-tech Park signed the framework agreement on "deepening cooperation between East China Normal University and Shanghai Zizhu Hi-tech Industrial Development Park", marking the new chapter in the cooperation.

Academician Qian Xuhong said the cooperation between both sides will further promote the development of both Zizhu Hi-tech Park and ECNU. He hoped that both sides give full play to their respective advantages, optimize the resources integration and carry out more in-depth cooperation in more fields on the basis of the framework, to serve the construction of "five centers" in Shanghai and benefit the whole society.

Vice president Li Yiping expressed sincere congratulations on the signing of the agreement, saying that the steady development of Zizhu Hi-tech Park has accumulated great potential and advantages in the future development. The new development planning is inspiring. He hoped that Zizhu can make greater achievements. ECNU has a long history and unique advantages in education field. He hope that the cooperation between the two sides become a model for the "integration of Hi-tech Zone, university campus and the community. The model will be spread to the whole city and show new energy. He hoped that the two sides will conduct more cooperation to achieve common development and contribute more to the society.

More than 30 people including Yang Changli, deputy party secretary of ECNU, vice president Sun Zhenrong, Meibing, Li Zhibin, Wang Rongming, Zhou Aoying, Hu Bing, vice president of Zijiang Group and general manger of Zizhu Education Investment Company. Tang Jifeng, vice president of Zijiang Group and general manger of Zizhu International Education Park, and the senior management team of Zizhu Hi-tech Park.

ECNU and Zizhu Hi-tech Park have carried out all-round, multi-field and high-level cooperation since the cooperation relationship was es-tablished. Zizhu Hi-tech Park has contributed RMB 341 million to support the development of ECNU Minhang Campus by the end of 2017 to support the construction of the talent highland and the infrastructure and the in-dustrialization of scientific research achievements. ECNU supports the R&D, Zizhu industrial incubation base construction, enterprise agglomeration, personnel training and other aspects. The two sides jointly promoted the construction and management of Zizhu Basic Education Park. Both sides completed the construction of Zizhu Kindergarten, Zizhu Primary School, Zizhu Junior Middle School, Zizhu Senior Middle School and Zizhu Bilingual School. Zizhu International Education Center was completed. The Asia-Europe Business School and ECNU-Haifa University Transformation Science and Technology Joint Research Institute successfully settled down in Zizhu International Education Center.
