In the afternoon of August 1st, 2005, the ceremony of INTEL Channel Platform Group’s Headquarter establishment is held at Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park. Mr. Zhou Yupeng, the vice mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, Mr. William Sui the Vice President of INTEL and general manager of INTEL Channel Platform Group, Mr. Zhou Bo, the director of Shanghai Foreign Investment Committee, Mr. Liu Jinping the vice director of Shanghai Foreign Investment Committee, Mr. Zhou Weidong, the secretary general of Shanghai Informatization Committee, Mr. Chen Jing the governor of Minhang District, Mr. Zhang Wenyue, the vice governor of Minhang District, and Mr. Shen Wen the chairman and general manager of Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park attend the ceremony.

Vice Mayor Zhou Yupeng speaks highly of INTEL’s ten-years development in Shanghai. He also appreciates INTEL’s move to set up Channel Platform Group’s Global Headquarter in Zizhu.

According to the introduction of Mr. William Sui, Channel Platform Group is one of the five new groups after INTEL’S reconfiguration. It is the first times in INTEL’s history to set up a global headquarter of its group outside of the states.
