Accompanied by vice chairman of Shanghai People’s Congress Standing Committee Dinghua Yang, vice secretary general Jiping Xu, Minhang district chief Jing Chen and chairman of Minhang District People’s Congress Standing Committee Guoliang Luan, Jianmin Hua, Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, Inspected Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park on November 1, 2008. Wen Shen, Board Chairman and General Manager of the Park met the visiting leaders.

After hearing reports on Minhang District People’s Congress, Minhang District government and the Park, Hua visited to the Exhibition Center on the Achievements in Science and Technology, the Riverside Avenue and inspected Japan Omron Sensor Control R&D (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

Hua fully affirmed the "creative model of joint construction by government, privately-owned enterprise and university”, and expressed his appreciation for the innovation mechanism, sustainable HR support, cutting-edge technology owned by enterprises in the Park. He encouraged Board Director Shen to make the Park a model in adjusting national economic structure in Shanghai and even in the whole country, upgrading economic growth and improving overall competitiveness by continuing relying on technological innovation platforms such as universities and research institutions, promoting in-depth integration of “research, learning and production” and creating sound conditions for independent innovation of the enterprises in the Park.
