In the morning of March 18,2005, Mr. Chen Jing the governor of Minhang District, Mr. Shen Wen, the president of Zijiang Group received Mr. Yasuhira Minagawa, the president of Omron China Headquarters, and Mr. Takayoshi Oue, Division Manager in Minhang District Government VIP conference room. 

The two parties exchange the ideas about setting up Omron Shanghai Research & Development Center in Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park. The conversation is friendly and open. Mr. Chen Jing said that a high-tech international company like Omron is very welcomed in Zizhu, and the district government will provide consistent support to Zizhu Park and the companies in Zizhu Park to build Zizhu as a platform for hi-tech exchange and cooperation for mutual benefit and future development.
