The Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology officially issued a Notice on Notification of the Evaluation Results of National Hi-tech Parks (Trial). Zizhu Hi-tech Park ranked 12th among the 169 Hi-tech Parks in the country in the comprehensive ranking of national-level Hi-tech Parks in 2019, which was one place higher than the comprehensive ranking in 2018.
The comprehensive ranking of Zizhu Hi-tech Park has been improving year by year from 28th in 2012, 24th in 2013, 18th in 2014, 17th in 2015, 16th in 2016, 14th in 2017, 13th in 2018 and 12 in 2019 since Zizhu Hi-tech Park was included in the assessment system of National Hi-tech Parks by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2012.
The National Hi-tech Park evaluation system consists of a total of 40 statistical indicators (32 quantitative indicators and 8 qualitative indexes) in four modules, namely knowledge creation and technology innovation ability (30%), industrial upgrading and structural optimization ability (30%), internationalization and the ability to compete globally (20%) and the sustainable development ability (20%). This evaluation is based on the statistics and the development situation of Zizhu Hi-tech Park in 2018.
Zizhu Hi-tech Park ranks 12th in knowledge creation and technological innovation, 10th in industrial upgrading and structural optimization, 22nd in internationalization and global competitiveness, and 11th in sustainable development in the single index ranking of National Hi-tech Parks evaluation in 2019. The evaluation shows that Zizhu Hi-tech Park has made outstanding achievements in talent structure optimization, high-end and transnational talent concentration, technology market activity, technology service export ability, industrial value creation and enterprise profitability, service industry cultivation and development.
Luo Shangying, the secretary of Zizhu Party Committee and vice general manager, says that Zizhu Hi-tech Park will implement the innovation-driven development strategy and the high quality, sustainable development, production-city integration development strategy.
