East China Normal University Minhang Campus holds a grand opening ceremony on Nov. 18, 2004. The vice mayor Mr. Yan Junqi, the vice Director of Minhang District Mr. Chen Long, The chairman of board and general manager Mr. Shen Wen and officials from the related government organization and Jiaotong University attend the ceremony.
It is an important movement of Zizhu Park to build up Minhang Campus of East China University. During its progress towards hi-tech park of “ecology, humanity and technology”, a highly skilled talent pool is essential. Up to now, Zizhu Park has funded 50 million for research and another 160 million for land assignment.
