Accompanied by Jing Chen, Deputy Secretary of Minhang District Party Committee and Chief of Minghang Disctrict, Xiangmin Cheng, Vice Governor of Minhang District, a delegation of 10 led by Zheng Han, Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, including Hailin Sha, Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Municipal Government and Director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Jian Wang, Director of Shanghai Commission of Economic and Informationization, made an inspection tour to Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park on the morning of April 29th. Wen Shen, Board Director and General Manager of the park with senior managements of the park extended a warm welcome to the visiting guests.
Zheng Han, Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government with his entourage firstly visited the enterprises in the park --- SanDisk Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shen Lian Biotechnology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Shanghai National Veterinary Research Center.
Subsequently, the mayor and his entourage focused on the research on the development of Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park. After listening to Jing Chen and Wen Shen in terms of status of the Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park as well as the problems encountered in promoting the further development such as building the platform for industrial research and transportation system, Mayor Zheng Han made an important speech.
First of all, Mayor Zheng Han fully affirmed the remarkable achievements, the construction and development during the past seven years. He hoped that Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park would continually bring into play its talent, technology, industry and service advantages insist on scientific and technological innovation, injecting a new vitality into the development of Shanghai's high-tech industry, and become a new growth pole and an incubator base of a new-round national independent innovation industry.
